This summer De La Soul will commemorate the 20th anniversary of their classic work 3 Feet High and Rising with an extensive North American tour. The tour is being dubbed “20 Years High and Rising” and will see the group backed by the 10-piece Rhythm Roots All-Stars band that runs around with Ghostface and Rakim from time to time. No word on openers, special guests, or whether De La will play the album through front-to-back like Public Enemy keeps doing with It takes a Nation. Personally, I think that would be great, especially if they bring a long a stage set up of the game show from the skits.
